1. Who we are
Baboon Play is the developer brand used for Pixel Coloring.
Pixel Coloring is an Android puzzle game developed by Jakub Burian, the individual developer and data controller for the processing described as ours in this policy. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to the developer.
For privacy questions, support or a request about your information, email baboongames.mobile@gmail.com.
This policy covers the game and this website, including test versions. Advertising and purchase availability can differ between versions and regions. Test ads can still communicate with advertising services.
2. Information used
Progress and settings
Completed levels, mural progress, unfinished puzzles, settings, boost balances and Remove Ads ownership are saved on your device. The game does not upload a restorable copy of your puzzle progress to a developer-operated server. The analytics described below reports gameplay milestones, not a cloud save. Device or operating-system backups may create separate copies under your backup settings.
You do not need a separate game account. The game does not ask for your name, email address, age or date of birth to play.
Google Play Games and cloud saves
Google Play Games attempts to authenticate your platform profile when the game starts and may display Google's profile or sign-in screen. Its software processes your gaming identity and service analytics and diagnostics. Successful sign-in automatically connects cloud saving unless you previously turned it off. You can continue playing locally if sign-in is cancelled or unavailable.
Cloud saving keeps completed pictures, an unfinished picture, tutorial progress and boost usage with your Play Games account. Google processes your Play Games identifier and saved game data to provide this feature. Settings > Save Your Progress lets you save or retry connecting and confirms when the save succeeds. Saving also continues automatically while connected. You can manage platform sign-in through Google's Play Games settings. Your device preferences and purchase receipts are not included in the saved game; purchases are restored separately through Google Play.
The game stores a derived account identifier and local profile copies, migration backups and conflict candidates to help prevent loss or mixing of progress when saves conflict or accounts change. These local copies stay in the app's storage. The game does not send your Play Games identifier to Firebase Analytics or request friends, email addresses or profile photos for cloud saving.
Purchases and purchase-service diagnostics
Google Play handles payment for the optional Remove Ads purchase. Unity In-App Purchasing connects the game to the store, checks receipts and purchase status, and restores ownership. This involves product and transaction identifiers, purchase tokens or receipts, price and currency, and purchase outcomes. Your full payment-card details are not provided to the game.
The purchase software also sends purchase-related events and technical information to Unity. This can include installation and session identifiers, device model, operating system and app versions, language, country, and diagnostic or performance information. These records support purchase operation, reporting, reliability and fraud prevention. Purchase-service reporting is separate from advertising consent.
Advertising and privacy preferences
The game uses Google AdMob for banner, interstitial and optional rewarded ads. Google's advertising software collects information such as IP address and approximate location derived from it, ad views and interactions, app and device performance information, and permitted identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google and its advertising partners use this information to deliver and measure ads, personalize them where permitted, and detect fraud.
Google's privacy messaging service checks which consent messages and choices apply. It processes and stores privacy preferences and consent status. Ads are requested only when that service permits requests. Depending on your choices, location and applicable protections, ads may be personalized, non-personalized or limited. Non-personalized ads can still involve data processing for delivery, measurement and security.
Remove Ads disables banners and interstitials. Optional rewarded ads for boosts remain available. Purchasing Remove Ads does not delete previous advertising records or stop purchase-service processing.
Game analytics and campaign measurement
The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand gameplay and measure how people find the game. Events include tutorial choices, level starts and completions, restarts, boost use, earned video rewards and purchase outcomes. These help us improve the game and, when connected to Google Ads, measure and optimize advertising campaigns.
Google's analytics software also processes app and device information, sessions, app-instance identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, purchase events and permitted advertising identifiers. Linked advertising services can provide ad-impression and revenue information. The game does not send your name, email address, saved board layout or raw purchase receipts as custom analytics event parameters, or assign a game-account user ID.
Analytics collection follows the applicable analytics-storage choice supplied by Google's privacy service. Where that service requires consent, collection stays off until permission is given. Where it reports that this consent requirement does not apply, analytics can operate. Unknown or unconfigured choices keep collection off. Advertising use and personalization follow their separate choices. Remove Ads does not itself switch off analytics.
Support and this website
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you provide. We use them to handle your request. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details or other information that is unnecessary for support.
This website uses Firebase Hosting. Google receives network information, including IP addresses, to deliver the site, detect abuse and analyse hosting usage. The pages do not contain analytics scripts, advertising trackers, tracking cookies or a contact form.
Features not currently active
A separate mobile attribution service and additional mediated advertising networks are not currently active in the game. We will update this policy before introducing new data practices.
3. Why information is used
Where European or UK data protection law applies, we use the following grounds for our processing:
- Providing the service you request: operating the game, saving and restoring progress while cloud saving is connected, and fulfilling, verifying and restoring purchases where necessary to perform our agreement with you.
- Legitimate interests: answering enquiries, maintaining reliable services, understanding purchase-service performance, preventing abuse and protecting legal rights, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent: game analytics and campaign measurement, advertising personalization, and access to or storage of information on your device where consent is required. The privacy message explains the relevant purposes and choices.
- Legal obligations: handling valid legal requests and retaining records where applicable law requires it.
Providers that determine their own processing purposes explain their grounds in their own notices. Reading this policy or continuing to play is not itself consent. A purchase is optional, but the store needs the relevant transaction information to complete it. We need a way to reply if you request support.
4. Children's privacy
Pixel Coloring is intended for teenagers and adults aged 13 and over. It is not designed or marketed specifically to children under 13. The game does not collect a date of birth or an age choice, and its intended audience does not establish an individual player's age.
We do not knowingly process children's information in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information that should not have been collected, contact us. We will investigate and take the steps required for the circumstances, such as deleting information or asking the relevant provider to stop processing it. A parent or guardian may make a privacy request on a child's behalf, subject to appropriate verification.
5. Service providers and sharing
Information is received by the services needed for the activities described above:
- Google Play: app distribution, payments and ownership restoration. Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Play Games: platform authentication, optional saved-game storage and recovery, and service analytics and diagnostics. Google Privacy Policy and Play Games data information.
- Unity In-App Purchasing: purchase integration, transaction reporting and service diagnostics. Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy and Unity IAP privacy information.
- Google AdMob and advertising partners: ad delivery, measurement, security and privacy messaging. Google advertising information. Applicable consent messages provide information about participating advertising partners.
- Google Analytics for Firebase: gameplay reporting and acquisition measurement, including linked Google advertising services where configured and permitted. Google Privacy Policy and Google Analytics privacy information.
- Google Firebase Hosting and Gmail: website hosting and support correspondence. Firebase privacy information and Google Privacy Policy.
These services may receive information directly from your device. They may act on our behalf or determine their own purposes, depending on the activity. For example, Google manages its payment service, while Unity processes transaction information on our behalf and some information for its own security and business purposes.
We may also disclose information when necessary to meet a legal obligation, investigate fraud or protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information for money. Some laws define certain targeted-advertising disclosures as "sharing" or "sale" even without a cash payment; applicable opt-out rights are described below.
Google and Unity operate internationally, so information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. See Google's data transfer information and Unity's linked privacy information. You can contact us for information about safeguards relevant to our processing.
6. Retention and security
- Local progress and settings: retained on your device until deleted or replaced. Clearing app storage can permanently remove progress. Any operating-system backups are managed separately.
- Cloud progress: kept by Google Play Games until replaced or deleted through its controls, subject to Google's retention practices. Signing out does not itself delete the existing cloud copy. A request already sent may finish. Local profile archives and initial migration/connection backups remain in app storage until that storage is cleared; temporary conflict candidates are replaced as newer recovery copies are retained.
- Support correspondence: kept while needed to resolve the request and any related dispute. We delete information when it is no longer needed, except for records necessary to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Purchase and advertising records: retention depends on the record, service purpose, deletion options and legal obligations. Ownership records may be needed to restore a purchase. See Google's retention information and the Unity IAP privacy information linked above. Clearing local app data does not delete those records.
- Website hosting: Firebase describes retention of incoming IP address data as a few months.
- Game analytics: event and user-level records follow the retention settings of our Google Analytics property; aggregated reports can be retained separately. Withdrawing analytics consent stops future collection and resets local analytics data, but does not automatically erase previously uploaded records. Contact us about deletion requests.
Our website uses HTTPS. Advertising, analytics and purchase-service connections use encrypted transport. Access to support information is limited to handling requests and operating the service. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee complete security.
7. Your choices and rights
Cloud saves: use Settings > Save Your Progress to save or retry connecting. To remove the Google-held game data, follow Google's Play Games deletion instructions. Close the game on your devices before deleting cloud data, and manage sign-in through Google's Play Games settings. Deleting cloud data does not remove local progress or backups; reconnecting a device that retains progress can upload it again. Clearing app storage also removes its local progress and recovery copies. Contact us if you need help understanding these options.
Advertising and analytics choices
Open Settings > Ads & purchases > Privacy choices when that entry is available. Google's privacy service determines which options apply in your region. You can use the available controls to review preferences or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent affects future processing and does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. Android also provides advertising-ID controls in its device settings.
Local data and privacy requests
You can clear local progress and settings through Android's app storage controls. The game has no separate player account to delete. This action does not cancel a purchase, request a refund or delete information held by service providers.
For access, correction or deletion requests, email baboongames.mobile@gmail.com with "Pixel Coloring privacy request" in the subject and explain what you need. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to locate the relevant records and verify the request. Do not send passwords or full card details.
We handle requests concerning our records and instruct providers where they process information on our behalf. Where a provider independently controls records, we can direct you to its privacy process. Information processed only on your device may need to be deleted using your device controls.
Rights that may apply to you
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may be entitled to access, correct, delete or receive a portable copy of personal information, restrict processing, withdraw consent or opt out of targeted advertising and qualifying sale or sharing. Rights may have exceptions, including records that must be retained for legal reasons.
Right to object: where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object to processing based on your circumstances. You may also object to use of your information for direct marketing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
You may complain to your local data protection authority. We will respond to requests within the period required by applicable law. If applicable law gives you a right to appeal our decision, reply to our response to request an appeal. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when our data practices change and revise the date above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required. Adding new measurement services, advertising providers or account-based features will require a review of this policy before their data processing begins.
